Information letter week 25-26 2025 - Project Pussen

During week 25:• Restoration of ground slabs on the walkway north of Universitetsvägen.• Backfilling of the overpass at Universitetsvägen prior to laying ground slabs and paving stones.• Removal of asphalt on the pedestrian and bicycle path between the dam and the parking lot.• Excavation and backfilling work begins on part of the old parking lot.During week 26:• Restoration work on the footpath south of Universitetsvägen, in parallel with the restoration of the paving stones on Universitetsvägen.• The wooden house by the pond is removed.Status from week 24:• Soil samples were taken and sent for analysis. If the results show a good outcome, we will begin work on the planned grass area in the old parking lot.

Information letter week 25-26 2025

ALFA HouseDuring the summer, we will, together with our glass contractor, carry out some maintenance work on the glass in the light courtyard. Work is underway to replace ventilation units and other technical equipment. This may cause disturbing noise during both daytime and evening hours, and will involve contractors moving in the corridors. Materials are brought in and out via an opening in the facade facing Universitetsvägen. Most of the work is carried out in the basement areas of the building, but work is also underway to install cooling pipes in the corridors that connect the technical room in the A-building with the fan room in the A-building. During the month of July, the power will be turned off in ALFA and ALF, when the low-voltage switchgear will be replaced. This means that these buildings cannot be used during this period.The ventilation is turned off in the ALFA building until the end of August. The heating is turned off in the ALF and ALFA buildings until this autumn (date not yet determined).
